RustyJam #2 - Hunt the Chicken

This is a submission for Rusty Jam #2. 

Objective: Hunt the chicken & play around. 

Controls: 

    Left - A

    Right - D

    Up - W

    Down - S

    Sprint - Hold LShift 

    Ranged Attack - J

    Melee - Space (does not inflict damage ATM)

Original Objective

The original vision of this game was vastly different than the end result. I had originally planned to make a storyline of an enemy stealing an old farmer's beloved chicken. The farmer and his dog were to then set out on a quest to defeat the enemy and retrieve the chicken. 

Lessons Learned 

Establishing milestones is incredibly important with such tight time constraints.

Too much attention to detail can prevent reaching the overall goal. 

Have a very simple, realistic objective. More details and stretch goals can always be added if time permits.
